As Hibiki is forced to make a choice of staying with the Resistance or returning to the JP's with Yamato, Ronaldo tries to sway his decision but is stopped by the demon Bifrons.

As everyone realizes that Alcor isn't using a cell-phone to control the demon, his origins are questioned by Hibiki to which he responds that he genuinely doesn't know, only that he isn't their enemy.

Ronaldo has the Resistance summoners surround him with demons, but Bifrons easily incinerates them. Alcor goes on to calmly reveal that he is the creator of Nicaea and the Demon Summoning App, which he gave to humans as a means to fight the Septentriones, finally remarking that it allowed him to find a new "Shining One" in Hibiki.

Ignoring the exchange, Yamato outlines that the next Septentrione will appear simultaneously at the spiritual barriers in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka with Fumi adding that only high level demons would be strong enough to face them from now on.

As he leaves, Yamato entrusts Osaka to Hibiki and leaves the Resistance in charge of the Septentrione in Nagoya although both Hibiki and Ronaldo state that they will not be Yamato's pawns.

Hibiki concludes that at the end of the week long Septentrione battle, he will stop Yamato's plans. Afterwards, Alcor has an exchange with Bifrons and Botis on his actions which hint at stopping the "Purge of Polaris", while simultaneously as Yamato looks at having overused his power to control Ceberus, he recalls having rejected being the "Shining One" in favor of his ideals of stopping the "Purge" to Alcor in the past.

The next day, as Fumi finishes work on a teleportation device, all the JP's and Resistance members submit for routine health checkups.

Hibiki thanks Daichi for coming to his aid, while Io and Otome talk about the bonds they share with the people close to them, while Otome simultaneously teases Io about her crush on Hibiki.

At the end of their checkup, Io and Airi are angered by Daichi, Joe and the innocent Hibiki for trying to peek during their checkups.

Finally, Makoto briefs the Resistance at the Nagoya branch, including Ronaldo, Airi, Jungo, Joe and Otome on the Septentrione: Megrez, explaining that because of its triplicate nature, they have to attack simultaneously at all three locations to deal it any damage.

As Hibiki, Daichi and Io are teleported to Osaka, Hibiki makes it clear to Makoto that they are no longer JP's members, and she acknowledges them as friends.

At the same time, Yamato stands alone in wait for Megrez's appearance at the Tokyo Tower. When Hibiki and co. Hibiki awakens on Thursday and to his surprise, finds Alcor waiting in his quarters.

Over coffee they casually discuss the state of affairs. Hibiki, now believing that Alcor isn't a threat, gives him sanctuary in his JP's quarters, with a promise that he not reveal himself and what he actually is to anyone, for fear of creating a panic within JP's.

Just then, Daichi and Io enter Hibiki's quarters and find Alcor, much to their shock. Although, Hibiki is forced to confide in them about Alcor's nature.

Much to Hibiki's reluctance to let them fight, Makoto explains that the Septentrione: Alioth is scheduled to manifest in the Earth's Ionosphere , and hence, specialized long ranged demons that only Hinako and Airi can summon, stand any chance of attacking it.

Utilizing an ancient myth , the JP's has some Legion demons, bind Kama in chains and take it into position in the air.

Kama's appearance angers Shiva and he attacks it with the Pasupata ability. The ability intersects with Alioth's core in the ionosphere and successfully destroys it.

Afterwards, while everyone breathes a sigh of relief, Alioth's 50km outer shell plummets from the sky and falls over the Sapporo region, destroying the city and killing all the inhabitants, much to everyone's shock.

Later, while going through Ronaldo's data, Hibiki struggles to come to terms with all who have died for Yamato's ideals.

That evening, Yamato prepares a feast during which he tells Hibiki and co. Hibiki reveals to everyone that the JP's intends to use their encounter with Polaris to recreate the world the way they see fit, although, Yamato rejects this, stating that he is simply following his own ideals of creating a perfect Meritocracy.

As Hibiki confronts Yamato once more, their ideals clash and with no room for consensus, promise to decide who is right on the final day.

The following morning Alcor surprises Hibiki, Daichi and Io by making breakfast for them, while Io withholds her fate from Hibiki and Daichi.

Later, Alcor visits Yamato and expresses his concern over what consequences Io's death would have on Hibiki, although Yamato shows no sympathy for Alcor's anguish.

Finally, Io is summoned by the JP's while Hibiki and co. As the group expresses concern on a battle plan, Yamato and Makoto reveal to their horror, Io inside a machine connected to the "Brionac" and their plan involving Io's sacrifice for Lugh.

Furious, Hibiki demands another plan, although Yamato's logic trumps him. Finally Mizar manifests in Tokyo prompting Yamato to begin the summoning for Lugh.

As Lugh manifests, Yamato assumes control of it and releases the Ryumyaku Seal at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building to invoke the Dragon Stream - Shakko, while at the same time Io's mind begins to erode due to the strain of maintaining Lugh.

Makoto explains that Shakko connects to a parallel universe and hence, is the only thing capable of banishing Mizar before it replicates infinitely and consumes their own universe , which Yamato manipulates through Lugh and thus defeats Mizar, just as Io's mind collapses.

Lugh appears and pummels the JP's defences with little effort, but remarks on Hibiki being a worthy opponent because of his summons.

Hibiki tries to communicate with Io but Lugh insults Io's will before attacking him, knocking him off the side of the building, although he is saved by Yamato.

Yamato then summons Baal and makes an attempt to kill Lugh but is stopped by Hibiki, using a combination of Suzaku and Byakko to destroy Baal, much to Yamato's anger.

As Lugh begins to disintegrate, it launches a last attack to kill Yamato, although Hibiki pushes him out of the way, taking the hit.

Too everyone's awe, the Dragon Shakko channels the Ryumyaku's power through Hibiki and allows him to defend the attack with his bare hands via a spiritual defense.

Seeing this, Yamato acknowledges Hibiki as having the same power as him and offers a partnership, but Hibiki rejects him, saying he will use his power to save everyone.

As the JP's realize they no longer control the Ryumyaku, Hibiki rises into the air, still blocking Lugh's attacks and is able to reach out to Io, reaffirming his promise that they will survive together and is able to successfully separate her from Lugh.

No longer having a spiritual medium, Lugh is destroyed while Hibiki embraces Io, vowing to protect her, while Yamato remarks that Hibiki brought a miracle.

Not having anymore hesitation to fight, Hibiki reminds Yamato of their promise of defeating him and having an audience with Polaris. As their battle begins, Yamato notes that Hibiki is driven by his anger towards him and his warped reasoning behind sacrificing the lives of everyone.

Although, Hibiki defends by stating that as a human, he cannot allow such injustice to prevail, causing Yamato to question his own humanity.

As Hibiki defends an attack using Shakko's power, Yamato acknowledges him as an equal and reveals that their current situation had all been part of a grand scheme put into motion by Polaris since the moment of their births.

However since Polaris itself is flawed by its own nature, it had left it up to humanity to decide amongst themselves who should survive until the end, whilst citing the anomaly of Alcor's nature as proof of this.

This truth shocks Hibiki, but Yamato simply brushes it off as semantics in his goal to reshape the world into a meritocracy.

As their debate continues, Hibiki desperately tries to defend the previous world that he and his friends fought so hard to protect, although Yamato remains adamant in his reasoning that those with power have a responsibility to erase the cancerous nature of humanity's current train of thought which had led to world built on corrupt foundations while simultaneously exposing Hibiki's naivety.

As Hibiki tries to explain how people can work together, he tries to get Yamato to realize that they had been friends all along because of their actions, but Yamato rejects the very notion of friendship, claiming that it is weak.

As Yamato starts to show injuries from his previous battle with Alcor, Cerberus weakens a bit and Byakko utilizes the opportunity to eradicate them both with a lightning attack.

Hibiki once again tries to assert his friendship with Yamato, claiming that they don't have a reason to fight although Yamato chooses not to accept this, since disregarding his goals after coming this far would only hurt his dignity.

Hence, much to Hibiki's despair, he chooses to continue the battle and fuses Nebiros and Zaou-Gongen into Satan.

Hibiki tries to defend against Satan's first attack with Shakko, put it proves too weak and Shakko is destroyed. Bidding him farewell, Yamato once again attacks Hibiki with a final devastating attack.

Hibiki's phone then receives all the demons of his deceased friends and begins his counterattack to a stunned Yamato.

Hibiki then uses all of his newly acquired demons in a six-step fusion to summon the demon Lucifer and clashes with Satan. As the force of Lucifer's attack injures Yamato's cheek, they then put all of their remaining strength into one final decisive attack.

In the aftermath, Hibiki embraces Yamato and tearfully explains the error in his ways, before Yamato admits defeat and dies.

As Hibiki looks into the sky, Polaris' silhouette appears and Hibiki asks for his wish Hanabee Entertainment issued their releases on September 3, [18] and May 6, From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Then, each team on both sides takes turns moving and attacking any teams in range. A move bar is displayed for the team that's taking their turn - each action the team does, be it attacking, moving, or using out-of-battle skills, will consume more of the bar, increasing the time the team needs to wait for their next turn.

Teams that get attacked will also have their next turns delayed. However, the Extra Turn does not take effect immediately once earned - the combatant has to wait for all combatants to have acted before they can use it.

Once combat begins, certain participating combatants may already have "Extra Turn" displayed, depending on combat initiative. Hitting weaknesses or getting critical hits thus not only earns the combatant an Extra Turn, but may also deprive enemies of their own Extra Turns.

No more than one Extra Turn can be obtained during combat. Teams consist of the team leader positioned in the center, and members flanking the leader.

The leader takes less damage than the members, but if the team leader is defeated, combat ends immediately and the leader's team is removed from the map.

However, this also halves EXP and Macca earned from team members that are still alive. Likewise, reviving the team leader will replace the team on the battlefield, along with any members that were still alive.

Fusing of demons is significantly different compared to other Shin Megami Tensei games as well. Each demon can only learn up to 3 Command and 3 Passive Skills, rather than up to 8 different skills in other games.

In exchange for reduced flexibility, the player is able to control the skills passed on to demons during fusion. However, inherited skills can only be placed in empty skill slots, as preset or learnt skills cannot be overwritten.

Certain demons are also Unique, which means that the player can only have one copy of said demon at any one time, and would need to fuse it off if another one were to be made.

After the system is introduced, the player can receive bonuses or penalties to earned Macca depending on how well they performed in battle.

Stealing Extra Turns and defeating multiple enemies in a single move, for example, increases earned Macca, while hitting enemy immunities and taking casualties in combat decreases it.

Routes are, for the most part, only found in the Devil Survivor games. While other Megami Tensei games do have various endings, Devil Survivor is the only series to refer to their endings as routes.

Routes are various paths that you can choose to take at the climax of the games. Certain routes will be open or closed depending on the actions that you make throughout the game.

Unlike most other Megami Tensei games, the routes you can take do not depend on your alignment, but instead depend on whether the route will be possible within the context of what has happened and whether the route's character likes you or not.

Devil Survivor has received mostly positive reviews praising its unique gameplay, intriguing story with suspense and meaningful decisions and high variety of character customization.

Realizing they are right in the scene of the death clip and the oncoming train, they are too late to leave the station as it starts to crumble.

The navigational AI of Nicaea, Tico asks Hibiki if he wants to live or die, he chooses to live, and Nicaea forcefully installs the demon summoning app on his phone.

When the three students are awakened in the now collapsed station, Kobolds appear from the dead's cell-phones to attack and devour humans.

Ogre comes out from Io's cell-phone and Poltergeist from Daichi's to fight off other malignant demons out of the blue, buying time for the three to escape.

The three leave the subway and it's then that they see their first glimpse of the now badly damaged city. Daichi is able to contact his mother, confirming his and Hibiki's families have safely evacuated, but Io cannot contact her family due to sudden network outage.

Hibiki suggests to Io that they escort her to her home in Ariake until they have figured out the true nature of the demon summoning app.

After they have arrived at Shimbashi station, Dubhe descends from the sky among the crowd. Realizing the unidentified object is moments away from attacking everyone, Hibiki shouts at the crowd to flee, in vain.

The three run before its "head" explodes and shoots out projectiles that burns anything they hit. Daichi leaves the other two to a back alley.

Hibiki tells Io to summon Ogre to protect them. At this time, Hibiki receives another death clip of Daichi which shows him in a truck.

Ogre falls for taking too much damage from Dubhe, then a truck driven by Daichi rushes to Dubhe and creates another blast.

Dubhe is apparently unscathed from the ram, but Hibiki's cell phone has finished downloading a demon, which is Byakko.

The beast is summoned and finishes Dubhe. Daichi turns out to have been saved by Pixie , a new demon summoned by Io, before the truck hit Dubhe.

Amazed at the ability to summon the demon as powerful as Byakko, Yamato Hotsuin in the JP's headquarter orders Makoto Sako to arrest all three.

Elsewhere, a mysterious man, Alcor, observes everything and refers Hibiki as "Shining One. Hibiki, Daichi, and Io are brought to the JP's headquarters.

While Hibiki is taken to the command room, Daichi and Io are taken to another room. The chief, Yamato Hotsuin, and his right-hand woman, Makoto Sako, explain that the mysterious invaders, named Septentriones , will destroy the whole world and can only be defeated by demons under the command of human summoner.

Makoto then drives the three to Ariake to investigate Io's home, but the Rainbow Bridge that would have been their path there has collapsed, so they change course to the nearby church which is being used as a refugee camp.

In the refugee camp, Io cannot find any news of her family and is in despair. In the same time, the church is attacked by a bunch of Itsumades appearing from the hostless cell-phone.

Hibiki summons Byakko to fight, Makoto also summons Power to aid Hibiki and destroys the cell-phone which runs amok.

After this incident, Hibiki is determined to fight for humanity. Daichi and Io also join him because they feel the same obligation.

Yamato gives them their first orders: head to Osaka and look for the missing JP's scientist, Fumi Kanno. Afterwards, Yamato is visited by Alcor, who questioned why he didn't keep Hibiki by his side.

Yamato replies that he's not the type of person who will die easily, so it won't be necessary. Realizing that Yamato has high hopes for Hibiki, Alcor states that he will also hoping for a new Shining One before disappears.

Elsewhere, at Nagoya, a man states that they're ready to put their plan to motion and won't let Yamato to do as he pleases.

They are greeted by another summoner of JP's, Hinako Kujou , at their arrival, but the other summoner Keita Wakui is less welcoming of the trio and returns to his mission of hunting down malignant demons by himself.

At the JP's Osaka headquarter, their computer system is attacked by an anonymous hacker, threatening to corrupt all data and disrupt a barrier that has been protecting the city.

At the same time, Hinako receives Keita's death clip that shows his dead body lying at the base of a large stairway that Hinako recognizes.

Hibiki instantly concludes that the scene of Keita's death is related to the hacker attack and attempts to inform Keita of his impending demise.

However, Keita gets ambushed by numerous Gozuki and Mezuki demons, forcing him to summon Berserker and rendering him unable to receive the call.

All four summoners head to an abandoned theme park where the hacker has been located. They arrive just in time for Hinako to summon Lilim , rescuing Keita as he was about to fall from the stairs, supposedly averting Keita's death clip.

The group tries to fend off the enemy demons, but soon learn that they are constantly being re-summoned by the unknown hacker.

They form a quick plan to approach the hacker themselves, and discover that the hacker is Fumi, the missing JP's chief scientist.

A powerful demon named Botis appears, who almost kills Io and is revealed to be the demon who kidnapped and brainwashed Fumi.

Hibiki and Keita team up to defeat Botis, allowing Daichi to destroy the computer equipment used to attack JP's. As the group start to relax, Botis suddenly reappears and blasts the area with lightning, causing everyone to flee as debris falls.

Botis commands the still brainwashed Fumi to continue with the attack on JP's, where she causes the entire JP's computer system to crash, causing the barrier protecting the city to quickly fade.

Botis then releases his hold on Fumi and vanishes, letting her fall to her doom. While Daichi manages to save Fumi from the falling debris, Keita ends up taking the full brunt of Botis' Ziodyne in Hibiki's stead, and is sent falling down the stairs to his death, just as the death clip had predicted.

Meanwhile, JP's detects the arrival of a new Septentrione in Osaka. Hibiki is grief-stricken by Keita's death, blaming himself for letting his guard down despite knowing his death clip.

JP's officials arrive at the park to bring all the survivors back to the Osaka headquarter before Hibiki has the time to mourn Keita's death, in preparation for the battle against Merak.

Elsewhere, Alcor is observing Merak's attack with Botis and discuss whether humans will be able to win or not.

Daichi is assigned to the medical team due to his demons being too weak to fight. In a room, Hinako briefly tells Io of how Keita helped her yesterday with Berserker when she cannot move falling debris.

A JP's member then arrives and tells her to ready while Io is on stand by. Hinako tells Io to stay by Hibiki's side since he's still blaming himself for Keita's death.

Yamato places all the JP's summoners and officials at different lines of defense before the tower which is under the process of restoring the spiritual barrier of Osaka.

Hibiki is particularly placed at the rearmost position, so he can fight Merak with more data about the enemy at the expense of the combatants sacrificed at the front lines.

Yamato's strategy, however, disgusts Hibiki and he ignores Yamato's order to reach to Merak where Hinako is fighting just as Io arrives to cheer him.

Hibiki arrives on time to save Hinako from Merak's attack and resolves to defeat Merak before it can advance any further.

However, Byakko's Ziodyne fails to scratch Merak, while it, in turn, proceeds to injure Byakko. All the other summoners, including Hinako, begin to prioritize Hibiki's and Byakko's safety over their own, giving their lives while failing to stop Merak.

Hibiki wakes up to find everyone dead, except Hinako who barely survives and tells Hibiki about Io before passing out.

Alcor suddenly appears behind Hibiki, introducing himself and vaguely talks about man's choices which affects others, such as Hibiki's disobedience results in Io acting as his replacement at the rear defense.

Shocked by his own ignorance, Hibiki rides on Byakko to pursue Merak, stating to Alcor that it's because he received the power to summon demons that he decides to do something to help others.

Io finishes downloading her new demon, Kikuri-Hime. Covered by other JP's demons, she is dealing some substantial damage to Merak and shatters some of its shells, but still unable to survive its Circumpolarity.

Merak then sheds its shell, preparing an even stronger Circumpolarity at the cost of its own defenses, but Hibiki arrives in time to destroy Merak.

While it dissolves, Merak attempts a last-ditch attempt to kill Hibiki, but a mysterious man summons Hagen to slice down the Septentrione.

He introduces himself to Hibiki as someone who hates JP's and warns him that Yamato is not trustworthy. Hibiki then leaves with the man behind Io's lament.

Meanwhile, JP's Nagoya headquarter is reported to be seized by the rioters from Ronaldo Kuriki 's faction, the former JP's member who has just lured Hibiki away.

Meanwhile, somewhere in Nagoya Airi Ban and Jungo Torii , two JP's summoners who have escaped Ronaldo's raid, plan to take back the JP's Nagoya base, using a secret tunnel that the insurgents are unaware off.

Ronaldo enters the room with Hibiki and reveals Yamato's ambition to establish a meritocracy system onto the world through the defeat of all Septentriones.

He returns Otome's phone and says that she and the other JP's members can still help and that the only one who needs to be stopped is Yamato.

Ronaldo wants to create a world of equality, for that he is planing to fight against the next Septentrione by themselves instead of JP's or the government, without sacrificing anyone in battle.

Otome and another summoner Yuzuru "Joe" Akie decide to aid Ronaldo in anyway they can. Back in the present, Alcor appears before Yamato, who greets him coldly, saying that the game has only begun and that strength and power are what shapes the world, to which Alcor says that he is no longer the Shining One, despite saying that Yamato has never changed and asks if there are no other possibilities for his ideals to come true.

Yamato replies that there is none, and promises he will prove it to him. As Yamato leaves, Alcor asks him if he believes Hibiki will win, and at that moment, Yamato receives a "friend's" death clip and seeing it to be Hibiki's, surprising him.

He turns to Alcor, who has already vanished. Airi and Jungo make their way through shafts wanting to re-enter the JP's base, while Io and Daichi asks an insurgent to quickly take them to where Hibiki is located.

Later, Otome asks Hibiki why he joined the resistance which he replies that he wanted to help everyone at JP's, but he sees the sacrificing of lives by Yamato's orders as unnecessary.

Otome tries to defend the bureau chief's actions, saying that those lives lost happened to lessen even more deaths. Hibiki tells her that he would willingly follow Yamato, but only if he is sure that Yamato is doing the right thing.

He also expresses confidence that Ronaldo would not give orders to sacrifice lives. At that moment Joe enters, accompanied by Daichi and Io.

Daichi tells Hibiki of his death clip and wants him to return, but Hibiki chooses to stay telling them of the arrival of another Septentrione and that Ronaldo's group will need his help.

He states that he does not want his friends involved in the fight and risking their lives, but Daichi and Io do not wish to leave him.

Moved by his friends' resolve, he thanks them. Airi and Jungo fall though a shaft, but successfully enters JP's base and immediately fights with the resistance members.

Ronaldo steps in with his demon Hagen and tries to peacefully talk of how they arrived without orders and makes them reconsider whether JP's is right or not.

Though Jungo doesn't want to fight other people, Airi stubbornly refuses to listen, saying she's on the side of justice and will only stop fighting once they surrender, continuing her fight with Ronaldo as Jungo fights with Joe's own demon Orcus.

When Hibiki realizes that a fight is happening, he tries to speak to them through the JP's intercom, declaring that there shouldn't be a fight at a time like this.

Just then, the area starts to shake as the next Septentrione, Phecda , makes its entrance. All the summoners, including Airi and Jungo work together to attack Phecda, but realize that their attacks have no effect on it.

Phecda shoots bolts of electricity, defeating all their demons as it then threatens to disrupt the generator that has been powering Nagoya's defensive barrier.

Just when they were beginning to get the upper-hand, Phecda splits itself into two and shoots a powerful concentrated beam that instantly defeats Suzaku and Kikuri-hime.

Daichi recognizes the beam as the one in Hibiki's death clip, causing Io to call for Hibiki to run. Hibiki refuses to quit and as he tries to summon Byakko, Phecda shoots another beam at him, but is blocked by Sarasvati.

Unable to withstand the beam, Sarasvati is defeated as an explosion causes Hibiki to lose his phone, leaving him defenseless.

As Phecda readies another beam at Hibiki, Cerberus arrives, heavily damaging the Septentrione, saving Hibiki from his fate shown on the death clip.

Yamato shows himself and with his power to overwrite his demons' abilities, easily defeats the Septentrione, despite Cerberus taking a direct attack from its beam.

Immediately after, Fumi appears on a screen and reveals that while Ronaldo and his group had their hands full, JP's has successfully retaken the Nagoya branch.

The others ask at how Yamato arrived so quickly from Tokyo, and it is explained that Yamato used his magic to transport himself there.

Hibiki angrily asks Yamato why he didn't use his own power to fight, and why so many others had to die. Yamato stoically replies that it is necessary in order to face Judgement day that he requires pawns to act by his orders.

He adds that Hibiki is an exceptional pawn, and his abilities would prove vital in saving the world. Ronaldo interjects, telling Hibiki to not believe in Yamato's words and that an egalitarian system is what the future should be.

He then tells everyone that should Yamato's merit system be chosen, Yamato will appoint himself as the new world's ruler.

Yamato simply states his ideology of "might makes right". As Ronaldo's group prepares to attack, Yamato warns that he will not show any mercy to those who choose to oppose him.

Having retaken his phone Hibiki summons Byakko, telling Yamato stop and if that should he try to hurt others, he himself will stop him.

Just as the tension mounts, Alcor arrives, saying that he never thought that two Shining Ones would ever fight, once again introducing himself.

He then tells Hibiki that the reason why Yamato came was actually because he saw his death clip, annoying Yamato and causing Hibiki to realize that Yamato came and defeated Phecda to save him.

Everyone questions who Alcor is since he seems not to be a member of JP's. In respond to Hibiki's shock, Yamato tells him that Hibiki is a weapon to defeat Septentrione, nothing more than that.

Seeing Yamato's stubbornness, Alcor points out that he should be glad he arrived on time, or else Hibiki would have been killed like the death clip has shown.

Yamato expresses his disagreement, saying that notion of set fate is ridiculous and strength can change it.

Alcor then asks whether Hibiki will follow Ronaldo or Yamato. Hibiki states that he wants to use his power for the right thing.

Ronaldo attempts to warn Hibiki that JP's would just use him, but Alcor tells Ronaldo not to interfere, with Bifrons appearing to enforce this.

Ronaldo orders the resistance members to capture Alcor, but their demons are easily defeated by Bifrons. Sensing the danger, Hibiki tells Ronaldo to have his comrades retreat while he will take them on.

Alcor reveals that he was the one who created Nicaea and the demon summoning app, which grants humans the ability to hold their own against the Septentriones.

And thanks to this decision, he found a new Shining One, Hibiki.

However, https://sfbok30.se/4k-filme-online-stream/meghan-markle-vermggen.php and Daichi are shocked when Io tries and compliments the food, though Hibiki is suspicious that Alcor put something in the foods. Unable to withstand the beam, Click here is defeated as an explosion source Hibiki to lose his phone, leaving him defenseless. Shortly after, before the train arrives, an earthquake occurs, causing the incoming train to derail and cause the same devastation they dwyer sabin tambrea in the videos. The anime uses the same script by Makoto Uezu as Haruto Shiota's manga adaptation with minor changes. As their battle begins, Hibiki explains to Daichi and Continue reading what would happen to the world if Yamato has his way after meeting with Polaris.

Hibiki Kuze meets up with his friend, Daichi Shijima after finishing their practice exams. While discussing their future, Daichi introduces and registers them onto a recently popular website called "Nicaea", a video delivery site that allows people to see videos of their friend's death.

Later, at the train station, they receive videos from Nicaea that show both of their deaths by an oncoming train at that exact station.

Shortly after, before the train arrives, an earthquake occurs, causing the incoming train to derail and cause the same devastation they saw in the videos.

On the verge of death, Nicaea offers Hibiki a second chance to live and a Demon Summoning App is forcefully downloaded into his phone.

He and Daichi awake to find the station in ruins with most of the people dead. They then witness vile wolf-like creatures eating the corpses of the recently deceased.

As the creatures turn their sights on them, rescued classmate Io Nitta and Daichi inadvertently manifest demons from their cell phones which repel the attacking creatures and allow them to escape.

Making it back to the surface, they find that all of Japan has met with the same type of calamity before a strange organization takes over rescue operations, with the officer in charge pondering that humankind must survive "Judgement Day" even if it means using demons.

With nowhere to go, the three decide to stick together and while waiting in Roppongi , the crowd is attacked by a demon called Dubhe.

At the same time Hibiki receives another video showing Daichi's death, before Daichi bursts out of a corner with a delivery truck, intending to ram the demon.

As the truck explodes, Hikibi, overcome with emotion, manifests his Avatar: Byakko, a tiger like demon which he manipulates and successfully destroys the Dubhe.

In the aftermath, Daichi had been saved by another one of Io's demons, a pixie-like creature before the group is approached by the Japan Meteorological Agency: JP's.

Elsewhere, a mysterious man watches the entire event and refers to Hibiki as "The Shining One. In the epilogue, Yamato has a short dialogue with the "Anguished One" about Hibiki, while elsewhere, somewhere in Nagoya a man remarks that their "plan" shall be set in motion.

Fumi Kanno, who had recently vanished. Upon their arrival they are greeted by other JP's summoners, Hinako Kujou and Keita Wakui , the latter of whom is less than welcoming and returns to his mission of hunting down rogue demons.

Unable to find any leads, Hibiki and co. At the same time, Hinako receives Keita's death clip which appears to be located nearby at the abandoned Festivalgate theme park, which Hibiki deduces is the source of the hack since it is the only location which shows up upon an isolated scan of the Osaka area.

As Yamato instructs Hibiki and co. Although, unbeknownst to them Keita is already at the theme park and is ambushed by the demons Gozuki and Mezuki.

Keita summons his demon Berserker and puts up a valiant effort, but is soon overwhelmed as the demons keep re-spawning. He is soon thrown off balance but is saved by Hinako's demon Lilim, which seems to avert his death, followed by Hibiki, Daichi and Io.

Yamato orders Makato to use a defense program created by Dr. Kanno called "Almadel" which manages to slow the hacker's demons down.

After Hibiki quickly issues tasks to everyone, Hinako discovers that the hacker is in fact a brainwashed Dr.

Fumi Kanno, who is being manipulated by the demon Botis. Hibiki and Keita use Byakko and Berserker respectively to launch a feint attack and takes out Botis just as Daichi damages the router to stop the hack.

However, Botis reappears behind Dr. Kanno and launches a lightning attack on the group. In a split second reaction, Keita manages to push Hibiki out of the way but the blast ends up killing him, fulfilling his death clip, much to Hibiki's shock.

As the theme park begins crumbling, Botis has Dr. Kanno remotely access the "Almadel" program within the JP's mainframe which finishes destroying the JP's firewall, as well as their spiritual barriers and leaves them completely vulnerable to attack.

Finally, the Septentrione: Merak appears in Osaka. Following Keita's sudden death, Hibiki remains visibly shaken due to the fact that they couldn't prevent it.

Meanwhile, as Hibiki is deployed into the field, Hinako and Io discuss his mental state due to Keita's death. As Io heads to Hibiki's location, Merak then launches a devastating ice attack, at the "Tsutenkaku" barrier, which survives, but the attack leaves a path of destruction and kills many more people, upsetting Hibiki.

Not wanting any more people to die, Hibiki abandons his post and proceeds further up the battleground to confront Merak. Io arrives just as Hibiki departs and prompting Yamato to use her as Hibiki's replacement at the defensive line.

Hibiki has Byakko unleash a strong lightning attack at Merak, which doesn't have any effect. Merak counterattacks and Hinako protects Hibiki but gets severely injured which then shatters his fighting resolve.

In the wake of the attack, the "Anguished One" approaches Hibiki and introduces himself as Alcor. He informs Hibiki, that because of his "choice" to fight, Io has taken his place at the final defensive line, causing Hibiki to head over there.

Io's feelings allow her to summon Kikuri-Hime and proceeds to attack Merak with support from the JP's summoners.

Although Kikuri-Hime manages to severely damage Merak, it sheds its outer layer and begins charging up its final attack.

Just then Hibiki appears with Byakko and successfully deals the final blow to Merak, defeating it. As Merak slowly begins to disintegrate, Hibiki lets his guard down and Merak tries to move, but is destroyed by the demon, Hagen, as Hibiki is approached by Ronaldo Kuriki.

As the JP's reports that their Nagoya Branch has been seized, Ronaldo tells Hibiki that Yamato is dangerous and asks him to accompany him.

At the same time, Daichi and Io stow away on the train and ponder why Hibiki left them behind. Just then, they are shocked to receive Hibiki's death clip and resolve to save him themselves.

In the meantime, the JP's tries to reassess the situation after losing contact with Hibiki and now their infiltration team as Dr.

Kanno repairs the damage to the JP's Osaka servers. Elsewhere, Daichi and Io arrive in Nagoya to discover a Resistance camp handing out rations to civilians.

Just then the camp is attacked by a swarm of rogue Legion demons. Daichi and Io summon their demons to intercept, however the swarm proves to be too large.

Hibiki then appears in the background with the demon Suzaku and incinerates the swarm. As Hibiki leaves, Daichi demands from a nearby insurgent about his whereabouts to meet the insurgent leader, Ronaldo.

Later at the Nagoya Branch, while an insurgent member and JP's medic, Otome Yanagiya argue over the state of affairs, Ronaldo appears with Hibiki and tells them that once all the Septentriones have been defeated, Yamato intends to create and become the leader of a new Meritocratic governing power in the aftermath.

He further states that Yamato manipulated both the JP's and the Japanese Government for that ambition and when he, a former detective and JP's agent found out i.

Still in a doubt, Ronaldo reminds Hibiki of how many lives were lost at Yamato's order during Merak's assault and that a world in Yamato's control would result in death for those without power.

Picking the earlier two requires the player to attack the other side, then defeat and destroy the civilian's COMPs to prevent them from getting themselves killed.

Picking the third allows the player to attack both the angels and the demons at the same time, though this strangely does not affect whether the player has a better chance at getting Naoya's or Amane's ending.

Midway through the battle, Honda and the civilian decide to take this opportunity to escape, and the player can choose to do so as well.

However, immediately upon exiting the area, a strange lightning storm appears over the lockdown — the Angels have declared the lockdown a failure, and have decided to kill everyone inside.

Worse still, they have declared humanity to be in default of their responsibilities as children of God, and an Angelic army flies out to enslave the world.

Anyone not sufficiently subservient is killed outright, and the remainder are stripped of their free will. The game then acts as if the player lost a battle — "Mission Failed" — and sends the player back to the load game screen.

If neither the player nor the civilians escape, the ending is averted. When this happens, SDF soldiers appear to defend the wall, and the protagonist's party along with any surviving civilian on the scene promptly leaves before they are attacked.

Devil Survivor can be described one part visual novel, one part tactical RPG. Most of the story takes place by the player selecting events from a map, with an in-game clock dictating how much "time" is left to make decisions.

Naturally, most of the plot-critical or character-focused events consume time, with 30 in-game minutes consumed per event. The player's choices throughout the game will influence when certain events can be accessed, and for how long, ultimately influencing the outcome of the plot.

Battles occur on a grid-based map. However, the player must first dispatch up to 4 teams of up to 3, each containing one leader and up to 2 demons.

Prior to dispatching, the player has the opportunity to view the enemies on the field and their skills and elemental affinities and customize teams to best combat them.
